Chris van Dijl appointed CertICM Global Trainer

Recently The Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) appointed Cugavadi’s Chris van Dijl as the global lead trainer for the prestigious Certificate in International Cash Management (CertICM) and the Award in International Cash Management (AwardICM). The CertICM sets the standard in international cash management, and it is preferred certification not only for cash managers and treasury managers, but also for those working on the sell side in transaction banking with major financial institutions globally.
February 2020 CertICM residential school
The high-light for every CertICM student is undoubtedly the 5-day residential school which was held in February 2020, two hours north of London, United Kingdom. The February cohort consisted of 42 students from 10 countries coming from corporates, banks and financial service providers
The residential school consists of a walk-though of the main topics of the syllabus (focusing on the most common challenging areas), practice questions, a mock exam and not to forget a significant amount of socializing and networking.
From residential to virtual
As it turned out the 5-day CertICM residential school in February 2020 was the last one to be held in person, ending a very popular event after many years. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic the residential school was moved into a virtual event in which Chris van Dijl was vital to design and lead the residential school in the new virtual format. The virtual residential school includes online social workshops and the introduction of gamification into the webinars using Kahoot!.
